Dental: At TDH, Huggins-Protocol based “dental revisions” are performed according to strict guidelines concerning the specifics of the Huggins Protocol (vitamin C infusions, acupressure, sequential removal based on charge, etc). This protocol was designed to be used: A) in conjunction with all mercury and other toxic base metal (aluminum, nickel, etc.) removal, B) in conjunction with the surgical removal of teeth that have been treated with root canal therapy, and C.) in the surgical treatment or curettage of areas of necrotic bone called cavitation lesions. We also offer biologic, integrative hygiene where no toxic chemicals or products are used in the mouth, and the actual factors that lead to periodontal disease are tracked before diseases ever begin. We use compatible dental materials and compatible surgical grafting materials (platelet-rich fibrin) and perform all of our routine general dental care (fillings, crowns) with the safest possible, most compatible materials commercially available. Neural and Ozone therapy are performed in conjunction with all applicable restorative and/or surgical procedures. All dental work utilizes ozone gas, and all surgical procedures utilize ozone gas and ozone water. No higher level of cleanliness or safe, natural microbial disinfection exists. Pharmaceutical (IV conscious sedation)and non-pharmaceutical options for sedation and anxiety control (homeopathic medicine, CDB oil, etc.) are available. Additionally, most medicines used in the practice are the safest available in the world. For example, homeopathic injectables and other bio-regulatory medicines are routinely incorporated into the patients care to lessen pain and enhance their unique outcomes and results, and have negative side effects many thousand times less than over-the-counter analgesics, like Advil or Tylenol. All patients are given options to approach care with a multi-disciplinary approach, including but not limited to acupuncture, hydro-colon therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, muscle-testing and nutritional assessments, iridology, and other potentially helpful complementary therapies. Dr. Carpenter will make recommendations as appropriate. The best way to start a dental health improvement process with Dr. Carpenter is to schedule for a comprehensive exam where you will set goals, and an individualized treatment plan will be created based on those goals. Neural Therapy: Besides its application for the indication of promoting healthy nervous system function and preventing and/or correcting dysautonomia, Dr. Carpenter can also use Neural Therapy to treat specific problems. He can also use it to offer support for: headache’s (migraines and other), neck pain (acute, chronic injury and post-surgical), sinus (allergy and chronic/acute sinus infection), neuralgia (trigeminal neuralgia, tinnitus), scars (3rd molar and head/neck after surgery or trauma), thyroid injections (to treat an array of different thyroid diseases, hypo and hyper), tonsil injections (and post-tonsil removal), brain-toxin draining procedures through activation of the glial-lymphatic system, scavenging metals and resetting autonomic ganglia associated with metal removal and surgical procedures and many other applications of segmental therapy that Dr. Carpenter uses for liver, kidney, lungs, brain, etc. This treatment can also be used to help increase salivary production and output but “resetting” the major salivary glands… sometimes with ozone (salivary enhancement). The best way to see how neural therapy can help improve your health is to schedule a Neural Therapy consultation with Dr. Carpenter . This appointment includes a dental panoramic radiograph if you are not an existing dental patient. A panoramic x-ray is required for a neural therapy assessment as many things that disrupt the normal, ideal function of the nervous system occur in the head and neck. Ozone Therapy: Pain, Regenerative, Preventive, Immune Building, Anti-Infective, Allergy Therapy: Dr. Carpenter routinely uses ozone therapy with all dental procedures, restorative or surgical, because of its miraculous properties for stopping inflammation. In addition, with his existing dental patients, he will occasionally offer ozone therapy in the form of pre and post-conditioning… or care designed to assist the body in having its best healing outcome. Dr. Carpenter also performs the following ozone therapy’s in the office: Ear and nasal insufflation for treating colds, allergies, and sinus infections because of its natural anti-viral, antibacterial, anti-fungal/mold, and anti-parasitic properties. Nasal insufflation (colds, allergies, sinus therapies), Major Autohemotherapy (50-60cc), Minor Autohempotherapy (2-4cc), rectal insufflation (250-300cc), vaginal insufflation (1250-1500 cc), ear insufflation (8-15 minutes). There are also some forms of antibiotic-resistant forms of staph and strep that can only be killed with ozone. Occasionally limb bagging with ozone is employed for treating non-healing skin infections. Long story short, Ozone, appropriately used, can help offer amazing healing results! The best way to see how ozone therapy can improve your life is to take home and read an ozone information packet and/or schedule an Ozone Therapy consultation with Dr. Carpenter. Dr. Carpenter is an accredited member of the AAOT (American Academy of Ozone Therapists) and has an FDA supported research grant which gives him the legal right to perform oral and systemic ozone therapies as they relate to the patient’s dental care, and as are supported by his training. For example, when working with and removing immune-retarding metals, like mercury, from a patient, or when you perform surgery on a patient, and there is wound healing, it is logical to integrate IV vitamin C infusion therapy or ozone therapy into the procedure, as both have been shown in the research to help boost healing and the human immune system. We only use natural medicines that compliment the natural healing process, and most of the time we are just offering logical, integrative options that help offset the negative effects of the necessary restorative or surgical dental procedure.
